| Post subject: | mopar transmission pan gasket |
After finding out that Mopar made a reusable tranny pan gasket (Thanks Guys), I went out and got one. I'm a little confused because its a thick piece of plastic . It looks like a gasket but it's plastic. Will that seal? It just looks like I should put some spooge on it to help it work. Thanks. Joe |

Don't goop it with anything. It looks like plain ol' plastic on casual glance, but it's actually an elastomer material that seals well when torqued properly. |

Is there a special torque for this or is it the standard tranny pan specs??? Dan, you the Man. Thanks. Joe |
