Can I throw away or sell my lean burn computer now that i have made the swap to the GM-style module. I have a 1987 d150 that does not have to be emissions compliant, as we do not have testing in Montreal. Oh yeah, runs like a charm now but I know I have the wrong advance weights in the dist.ever since i put the older version of dist. for the conversion.Still slow as a dog............ Anyone want to buy the computer if so?? Geetee150(Greg) |

Greetings; I would recommend recycling your computer. At minimum leave it at (for lack of better term) bone yard. The mercury in electronics is a gray area in place like here in Michigan. In the days of pilot assembly at a Jeep and Dodge Facility the SBEC & RWAL circuitry were integral with an entire wire harness. If what your talking about has been compromised (simply my the RAM/ROM on 1994 and newer vehicles) in my opinion it would have minimal value. Respectfully Yours, Brian Doak CMfrT |
