I'm thinking of putting an A-100 straight axle in my '64 330. I know the earlier styles are narrower than say the 70's ones but I don't have any to compare or measure. Does anyone know what the drum-drum measurement is on these vans? And do you think I will need to shorten the axle to look correct in my B-body. Thanks, Pat. |

Pat,don't have a helper right now to hold the dumb end of the tape measure but looks like 52" maybe more or less? That's on a 68 108,I'll look for a helper when I get back this afternoon if nobody else chimes in. |

I'm pretty sure you gotta narrow the axle to fit. I'm also pretty sure all A100 axles are the same length but I could be wrong. I'd love to straight axle my valiant but it handles too damn well! |

I've got a 69 A108 axle with springs and 121 inch drums and it measures 63 inches from wheel mating surface on the drum to same on the other drum. |
