Here is what I have come up with so far .I have made the HEI conversion with an electric dizzy , a holley 1920, and I am using a relay .I wanted to keep my original air cleaner , and make it look all original for state inspection. here are the pictures of what I have done to make it look like the lean burn system.

Image
I put some new heat insulation on the bottom.
Image
I cut out the innards of the vacuum diaphram.
Image
I drilled out holes for the wire , so it would not be too much pressure on the blades of the module.

Do you think it code pass ?

I will post some more pictures when I put it back on . Hopefully soon.
The module will be grounded to the alternator ground.

 You sly dog. I like it! You may want to put some kind of strain relief on the wires to prevent any sudden tension on the wires from unlugging the connectors on the module or damaging the module.

The fun part was getting the circuit board out  .
I am going to run the wires and secure them the way the other wires were run.

How many people actually know what a lean burn is supposed to look like anyway?

Be careful, environmentalists can get violent, if they find out...

I split the distributor wires off from the others

These are the bullet connectors i used to connect the wires ,so if the module croaks, I can use a pe-made spare module ,and connect it without having to take everything apart to make it home.
I have also used a slightly bigger wire loom, to cover where the wires are connected at.
