never had to do it before, wondering if there is anything "in the way" when removing oil pan?

The steering centerlink and the K-frame are "in the way". (at least in a A-Body car)

the stearing link and K-frame arent a problem on my 85 d-150 but there is a bracket on the drivers side that connects the trans(mines an 833od) and the motor that when i took off my truck the oil pan had a very easy time coming out.

Drop the idler and pitman, loosen the motor mounts and jack up the motor from the front pulley.
