I've never seen this question posted befor, so I'll ask it now. I'm concidering a pair of your dual manifolds for when I do my S6 swap next month. Have you concidered adding the choke stove to your custom rear castings so that the factory chokes could be retained. That way carb heat would be the only issue to worry about. Not to mention having two manifolds that flow the same. Unless your custom castings flow close to what a modified stock casting would flow. Hope this makes sense. drucker@sbcglobal.net |

I have done two special manifolds with the auto choke "stove" mounting provisions in different places. (above runners 2 & 5) These were used with the Offy dual 1 BBl intake and the mounting "posts" were welded-on after casting. I could "custom cast" this feature into some select castings but it would be at an additional charge and take a few months to accomplish. I would not want this pocket on all the units I produce seeing most are used with a single carb. where the extra feature would end-up being an ugly lump of unused iron. DD |

Could you give me your current price for two of your new castings and how much more it would be for the choke stove to accept a choke for a S6 set up. From there I'll know if its in my budget. drucker@sbcglobal.net |

While you are on the subject I have been wondering if you have a rear casting with the smaller flange to match the first ones you made for the front? Thanks for all of your hard work Doc! and keep up the good work. |
