Long story,I'll compress it as much as possible.
I'm picking up a complete super6 motor out of said Aspen for future fun and giggles, didn't even ask the year maybe 78? After I got home from the junkyard I'm thinkin that it would maybe be better to just leave the motor in "storage" in the car. Car isn't really in to bad of shape at first blush and maybe worth saving,Except, left side sits quite a bit lower than right,3-4 inches maybe. Any ideas, common concerns on this body style that would let whole left side sag this much? No it's not sitting in a hole and yes the tires are pumped up :) No history on the car yet,it's just future rebar to the junkyard :( Thanks all

Lloyd- Chrysler sat many of those cars on pitiful 4 leaf rear springs that are known to sag. I actually have one brand new five leaf rear spring that I purchased for my 5th ave that would bolt right up to the Aspen. If you are interested, it's yours. I can fill you in on the details of how to work with the "Iso-Clamp" rear suspension system if you want the spring, since upgrading to a five leaf spring set will require longer u-bolts and some workarounds on the original four leaf spring clamp system. Unless this is a wagon or the rare coupe/sedan that originally came with 5 leaf springs.

I really like the F/M body lines. Very comfortable cars, and fairly durable (once the rust issues were worked out). I say keep it and fix it up. 8)

Thanks Reed,I'm a go back tomorrow an check it out closer. I figured maybe a spring or something would sag one corner but she's sitting down low front to back, got me stumped :? Have to stop by there anyway cuz there's a F..d van setting next to it that might have to follow me home as well  Vans make good storage units, like Larry says,my idea of adding on to the single wide is welding another van on the side

 Aspens and Volares also had the adjustable front torsion bars too, so maybe someone just loosened a bar up.
