I'm replacing my slant 6 225 engine out of my '64 Valiant with a remanufactured 225 engine that is a '67 yr model, the oil pressure switch is on the passenger side of the older (64) engine, but theres no hole in the same location on the newer (67) engine. Can anyone recommend where to place the switch on the new engine?

BTW, I have a new oil pump and it's the Five bolt hole (not six.) Can we take the plug off by the filter and install the oil pressure switch there?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, that is the proper locatiom for the oil pressure sender/switch on the later engines. You might need a reducer bushing from the hardware store.
I like to install a "T", so I can use the stock switch and warning light, but also install a guage.
