My 65 Dart has the stock dash. The speedo started making noise and jumping a long time ago and I've lubed the cable-w-little if any help. Is there an after market complete dash available or some other instrument panel upgrade that will get me a better speedo setup? I know at one time I looked for but could not find anywhere a new cable. I even got one that Carquest told me was the right one and it was not. I actually don't think it is the cable alone that is the problem. Thanks Howard |

Your instrument cluster does not need upgrading. Your speedometer needs rebuilt. See here. |

Thanks for the link. I had looked at this Co. but was also interested in a replacement for the purposes of modernizing the instrument cluster/panel. I doubt any Co. would undertake this due to the limited number of 65 Darts on the road though. Howard |
