Good news on tearing down the Dart motor!.

I figured I had a cracked exhaust. Nope! The steel factory shim gasket was burned out on #2 and #3. I saw some weird rust on the head. Kind of like 1/4 panel bubbles

Turns out the manifold isn't cracked! A previous owner tried to weld the head to the manifold. I chipped the bird turd beads off with a chisel and ground it flat.

I was proud of myself getting the manifolds off without breaking any studs :)

Now to seperate the bolts holding the manifolds together without breaking them!

Gotta check into the OZ gaskets..............
