I have a 86 dodgeram and got tried of the sh!tty reman 1945 carb, so i started toying around with a homemade 2bbl manifold and a holley 7448.

the engine runs so smooth down to 400rpms it doesn't look like its running, and when you punch it, its gone.

It looks like your fuel distribution is probably pretty decent, with the carb oriented the way it is. What is your mileage figure? Have you done anything else to the engine?

stock cam and head
hei with spark plugs gap at 45
distributor with vacuum advance from junkyard , didn't read the tag that's on it
2-1/4" exhaust
hd a940 with lockup
3.21 diff

216,000 kms
