Anybody have a favorite they'd like to recommend? Since I've had good luck with one of this company's big, 200-amp chargers, I was thinking about this one: http://www.carparts.com/SCHUMACHER-AUTO ... _10618.car I want something that shuts itself off when battery is charged for use on a couple of cars that aren't getting driven enough right now. Please share your experiences. Thanks. |

At my College, we've got a slew of cars that rarely get used. For those, we use NAPA units that are made by Midtronics Inc. They are alot smaller than the one you have pictured, and they seem to work pretty well. They kept the cars mostly alive (except the batteries that cracked during the ice storm we had recently) and they all more or less fired right up after break. I am sure the one pictured there will work just fine, it just takes up more space than others available. ~THOR~ |

I remember reading good things about these a while back but haven't used one myself. |
