Will my current 904 slip into a 318 dart no hassle, or at least minimum. Dont really want to "throw" away a new rebuilt tranny from the shop. Can i just transplant it?

If it is a Slant trans, no. Slants have a different bellhousing pattern/case than a V-8 trans.
