We had a good turnout with 36 registered vehicles and another dozen or so stopping by to look. The swap was a little small and the hot dog cart didn't show. Things you have no control over. Clifford Performance was open and had a parts display as well as some informal tours of the facility. Dave York won Best of Show with his 62 Plymouth Valiant as well as a pair of tickets to Disneyland in the raffle. The raffle was huge, with over $600 worth of prizes. I am in the process of checking with the NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona about the possibility of a show in late August and with Frahm Dodge in Norco for a show in November. Clifford Performance was also talking about the show for next year. I'll keep you posted. Also, for those of you who weren't aware of it, Jack Clifford passed away in December 2001. micheal.keller@honeywell.com |

Steve Magnante was at the Spring Meet with his Hot Rod Magazine Clifford Hyperpack 62 Valiant SL6. He did take Best Race SL6. This is a cool car. micheal.keller@honeywell.com |
