Post subject: | Electronic ignition conversion question |
I am just about to install a Mopar electronic ignition conversion kit in my 1970 Plymouth Gold Duster, and am wondering where the best location is for the control box? Any of you folks who have done a similar conversion have any opinions? I have been searching for engine compartment photographs to hopefully find out where Mopar located the original equipment ones, but as is the case when you are looking for something, you cannot find it. Thanks much! vze28st5@verizon.net |

Thanks much! Most of the A bodys with electronic ignition I have seen have the control boxes mounted by the master cylender on the inner fender. You should try to mount it in a place that will not see to much heat. On my Satellite and my late '70 Fury, I mounted it on the radiator support. Eric W My Big B ecwfury@webtv.net |
