| Post subject: | Arg, accident : did I bend my Dart? |
Hello, I've just had an accident in my garage, a stupid stupid stupid stupid one! Anyhow, my car just went rearward at idle into another car (completely crushed, just a dent in my bumper...) but the door was also open and hit sthing. It now won't close at all but the hinges don't seem to have moved. The door in itself is a bit bent but not like completely the other way either... There's like 5° of angle from the hitting point on. Do you think (I know, it's a tough one) this kind of really slow crash could have bend the body at the point where the hinges go? Will I ever be able to close a door again? Thanks, Marc |

Right on! If only that's just the door frame, that wouldn't be so bad, but is the body that strong at the point where the hinges bolt? Does anyone know of a low speed accident where the body got twisted in some way? Thanks, Marc |
