We are racing correct? My starter went out and I need to fab up an exhaust, but I'll be there. |

Yes we era ,we are on their website and the race flyer has us listed,i have heard from some of the pro and super pro racers, some own sl.6 cars and may bring them out .Could be interesting,this may be a good turnout. Better get it fixed David when we added the sacramento and infinion you posted something about two wins for you. Several of us noticed that,you bstter get her dialed in. By the way Redding is the week before ,can you make it? |

I will be there. New starter will be in on Sunday, then a carb tune, and fab up some exhaust, and load it up. If everything goes well, I should be ready with plenty of time left. The first deadline I had for this car was back in 07 before Mopar Drags at Sacramento Raceway, and the weekend before, I was just finishing the brakes, and putting a muffler on. I wont be at Redding, because I have an ET Series Race at Sacramento. I hope I can get my membership at Infineon??? |

Put a new starter on today. The car came to life after about 6 months of sitting. I need an exhaust, and that's it. |

As long as Dobie is up and running, Amy plans on racing it there. And also, the other Dave from Wilton is planning on being there with his Demon. We will see if all of us from Sacto area will make it. |

I've run open headers a few times, car runs faster with the full exuast though. Don't think you'll have a problem with it. TF |

Remember the rules: 1 You have to run a slant six 2 See rule 1 Just pass tech inspection. They don't like to see the exhaust blasting away in the engine compartment. Get it out of there and under the car. See the NHRA rule book, and think about what would be in the blast of heat from your open pipes. If it's blowing on the firewall, they aren't going to like it. Time to thrash. Still need an exhaust, just waiting on collectors, and need to fab it up. And my fuel pump went out as well. Should be here tomorrow on both items. Unfortunately, I work from 9 to 9, so it may have to be a midnight thrash. Those are always fun. |

Weather is kind of up in the air for Saturday. But things change daily. Tonight they said possible showers in the valley on Saturday morning. But just in the morning. That was for Sacto. Sonoma is about an hour and a half away. And the weather can be colder than Sacto. I think we will be seeing some quicker times this Saturday. And I am bringing my coat. But hey, what a light show we have here in Antelope. I told the wife, as I sit here sweating, I think the good Lord is preparing us for Georgia. Though, I know the thunderstorms in GA can be stronger, we had a pretty good taste of it. Constant thunder and lightening, rain coming down in buckets - too awesome. Hopefully, this weather system will break through before Saturday morning. |
