Hey, I found a 3-speed manual tranny for my Swiss-made '64 Valiant. I'm going to do the surgical procedure today and wanted to ask the Slant 6 Gurus - what's the best trans fluid to fill it up with? Should I use something like 80 weight gear oil? Thanks,

It may depend on which transmission it is or what it was originally in. The factory recommends automatic transmission fluid for my three speed. (64 D100 truck)
