I came across a Motorcraft 2BBL carburetor can anyone ID this carb for me (cfm?) and has anyone tried this carb on a slant or will it work.

It's a motorcraft licensed Holley.

I wild guess is it's too big. The only way to know is find the numbers on the air horn, or failing that get us the diameter of the throttle plates. I have a table that will tell us roughly what it is.

Why do you call it a Holley? The accelerator pump isn't on the bottom of the fuel bowl. It looks like a Motrocraft to me.

Could be wrong. Willing to be wrong. That would be even harder to use in this application.

Edit: By the way, Holley was purchased by Ford in 1917. Not sure when they spun off again. Probably shortly after the war.
