Hello to every one,
Summer is here and I have to have my 73-Duster A/C repaired. It definitely has a leakage ( and I think is under the dash from where a strong swishing sound comes when the A/c is on, and of course, the clutch is engaged, by the compressor). There is absolutely no cooling air coming from the vents. There is a place where they sell mopar evaporators for a car like mine and I willing to buy it but I do not think I will do the job myself. I want to maintain everything in my car as closer as the original as possible. I'm not interested in the best cooling but in some cooling. What I mean is that I do not want any kind of adaptation ( as I know that a shop in the Tampa area does) but I appreciate of a good reputable shop that is familiar with this kind of cars and that can either maintain an R-12 ( if it is still what I have, I'm not sure now) or convert to 134 system and fix any problem with the A/C. I am in Avon Park, Central Florida, 80 miles from Orlando and from Tampa. Thanks in advance.

If you want to travel this far, I can do the work for you. I am in Silver Springs, outside of Ocala. However I will be gone racing untill June 8th. If the A/C is not cooling do not run the compressor, it can cause more damage (read more money).
