Post subject:  ? on engine swap

Hello everyone! I have a 1980 W150 powerwagon with a 318 with high miles. The motor runs really good, but is weak when I go up hills. I know a guy who is swaping a slant six for a 340 in a 1970 dart. He asked me if I wanted the slant six, it has just over 43000 miles on it. I would like to know what changes I need to do to swap out my 318 for the slant six. My truck is a 4speed manual, so I know I will need a new bell housing with the starter being at a different location and the motor mounts would have to be changed. Would I need a new crossmember to change the motor mounts and what else would you guys think I would have to do? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Btw, I'm glad I found this forum, I have a 1966 dodge dart with a slant six, so I'm sure I will be asking alot of questions for that as well. :D

Go ahead and grab the free SL6 but to be honest, you would be better-off keeping a small block in the power wagon.
Give the 318 a rebuild or keep your eyes open for a good 360 to swap-in.
