Doesn't work with 2bbl apps. But it looks and works great on my BB. Anyone have GOOD pictures of a home brew setup with A/T? I'm pretty much done screwing around and want to get to driving and don't feel like shelling out 200.00 for a stock kit.

I don't understand why you think it will not work with 2bbl carb? I am currently running a Holley 2300 2bbl on an Offy intake with the Bouchillion Performance kickdown kit.

I bought one for my Super Six with a BBD and their bracket doesn't clear itself. I'd love to see pictures of your setup, because even bouchillion told be that it doesn't work with slants after I called them to buy a set up for my BB.

The late model Dakotas have a cable kickdown which should be fairly easily adaptable to a slant. The fransmission end would be a straight bolt-on and maybe sone fabrication needed at the carburetor.

Have you converted either of your 62's to 2bbl? care to post some pictures of your set up if it is non-stock parts?

No, I haven't done it, but I've looked at the setup on my Dakota and belkieve it's doable. I seem to recall that some here either did it or posted some infor about it.

*edit* I just did a search on "Dakota kickdown" and found numerous results.

what about the lokar kit? i seem to remember someone mentioning that. i got my kickdown with the kit, pulled two at a junkyard in illinois last time i was out that way for cheap, sold one for 45 and the other 76, theyre out there, but i think someone said the lokar kit was cheaper.

I moved this topic because it is more relevant to the transmission & rearend area then to engines.

The Lokar kit for and A-904 is $65 - $85 at Summit depending on the exact kit desired. I don't know how much the Bouchillon kit costs.

I have a Bouchillon cable and bracket on my Holley 4V. I had to bend & file the bracket a bit to easily fit on the drivers side rear stud with out removing the carburetor. It works fine, a no brainer adjustment. Also needed a throttle adapter bracket for Chrysler as Holleys come rigged for Chevys. It is more expensive than a Loker set up, but an easier install.

Second page of the instruction sheet section:
1. Fits all Holley after market 4 &2V carburetors.
2. Fits original equipment Holley 4 & 2V carburetors

I purchased it on SSDan's recommendation. The instructions are on line.

As far as finding a Super Six setup, it is highly unlikely that I will find one at my local yards. There seems to be limited information on the topic that actually has pictures or FIRST HAND INFORMATION about how to do the modification(s) to make this kit work. .

SOOOO......once I am done fabbing up my bracket, I'll post up some pictures under a separate thread. I already have some ideas, using the throttle bracket half of the BPE setup I bought for this car.
