hey, i tried looking and just found that people seem to be divided on weatherstripping, rock auto lists part # TK64A18 "For cars with flat (not D-shaped) trunk seal end profile." does that sound like what my dart would have? im not sure what the trunk seal end profile would be, would that be the trunk itself or the seal or? i really need to replace it, but want to make sure i get the right one. thanks |

I used TK 64-A/18 on my 67 Dart. It is the correct cross section fitting '63-'76 "A" Body & '63-'71 "B" Body. I don't remember who I purchased it from. Shop around for best price, lots of the part suppliers carry it. Also you will need to remove all of the old gasket & adhesive to a clean solid surface before installing the new seal. Use a high grade gasket cement designed for this application, and the job will be durable. |
