Anyone interested? I looked through this forum and found some interest when mentioned before. My engine builder has a direct account with cometic and they said that they would have to charge a 1,000$ setup. If we could get them an aluminum block to make gaskets than that way everyone is happy, cool. I think mls would be exellent as apposed to copper because of the extra work to seal copper and if you want any power than you have to fire ring the block, and that will cost more in the long run. let me know I can take charge of this if I find enough interest. I just can't se paying $1100 to get myself one  the user price is 193$
thanks Nick

I'm out. Have copper, and the block is done. Maybe in the future but not now.

I am very interested in making this happen. I have some Al blocks and want to use them, and am also getting into boost on an iron motor.

I would be in for at least 3 MLS gaskets, maybe more.

I bet we can gather a good bunch of people to buy these. I will ask around at the Wilkesboro race.

Maybe Dan had some discussions with Cometic that might be helpful? We should definitely discuss dimensions and particulars before ordering anything.

Thanks,

Lou

Now If I do go through with this than depending on order size I will sell at cost.It will likely take 30 days to get any gaskets but after that if I receive an order it will be more like 10 and I may even stock several. no talking on what price I sell them to anyone for as they protect dealers. If I receive 30+ "yeses" than I will front the money to start and once the tooling is made the order can be adjusted. it will be in everyones interest to order because after the initial order the price will increase.by the way bore size and thickness change over will alter price somewhat.any Questions let me know
