Dear All,

My slant six is dual barrel, head shaved off 0.05", runs on dual fuel, LPG (propane) on highway and gas on offroad. I also plan to install a new Erson cam RV15M with a total head shave of 0.09". What sparkplug do you reccommend?

Thanks

Which head do you have? Does it use the aluminum spark plug tubes? If it's '63-'74, some of us use NGK ZFR5N with the metal gasket removed. For earlier engines, leave it on. My '64 has similar Autolite 985's until the next tune up.
For '75 and up (non-drool tube) heads, I don't know what the preferred plugs are these days.

We get the ZFR5F-11 over here 14 mm plug - works like a charm

its a metal head, I use propane (lpg) sometimes and have an erson RV15M ready for installation. One of the shop adviced champion RV15YC4 but I do not know which of the above plugs its similar to.

Stick with the NGK's you will be MUCH happier. (4) heat range should be great for the propane/gas and the RV cam. Again they dont make a extended reach plug for the late model(non plug tube) heads. So the Zfr5n plugs wont work for you use the UR4.
