I'm new to the mopar scene and have been seeking information about which cars/years to take the parts off. Almost all the info I've read is for an A body swap. Will that info translate directly to the B body? From what I've read the calipers, brackets etc can come from almost any disc brake car or truck. The question I have is concerning the spindles. I'm seeing different ideas on what years and models will have the correct spindle. Any advice/help will be gratefully accepted. Thanks.

My car is a 71 Ply Satellite.

What you want are some knuckles from a 1973 or newer Mopar. An A or E body car would be perfect but the slightly taller knuckles from any B or R body car will also work.

Best setup for your B body car would be to find a late model B or R body and get the 11.75 inch rotors. You'll most likely need to change over to A body or E body calipers to get the hose routing correct but that shouldn't be too much work.

You can even put Porsche brakes on your B body if you want.

Thanks for the help Andy. I've located a few mopars in the local yards with the front complete so hopefully one of those will work.

Putting porsche or Viper brakes on would be cool, expensive, but cool.
