Post subject:  Plymouth Satellite station wagon'72
I saw this car a year before buying. At the car festival in Moscow. There I was at the Chevy Blazer'89. I am fan of American cars, my first car was Cady Fleetwood. A year later, I saw the announcement of the sale. Buy it was a mission from God) I went for it in winter on my Chevy. The road home was full of surprises. Blazer broke down over 400 miles from home. The temperature was-22F. Fuel pressure was low. Home jeep arrived at the evacuator, a satellite of its own power. Many of them I did not do - clean salon, changed oil and filter, brake pads. A bit of history. The car was bought in Canada, a Soviet diplomat in 1975. In Russia, was repainted. Served in the government garage. I am her third owner. Speedometer in KM. The plans body works and painting.
The car cost me $ 5800. For Russia, this is an adequate price.

Great car! Thanks for posting the pictures. Someone in America can send you a new yellow right side light (the red ones were used on the back of other cars).

That is a great looking Yank tank. I learned how to drive in a '72 Satelite Sebring (sp?), it was two tons of fun and would power through the snow when 4x4s would be stuck in ditches all over the place. Let us know what you need for the new machine. I'm sure we can save you some money even with expensive shipping from North America. Have a look at some of the other wagons on this site for some more inspiration here.

Oh, I don't know about that! :shock:

But I don't think I made myself clear: In the picture, it looks like your '72 has a red light on the side at the front. It should be yellow.

Its yellow right.


I thought you talking about the rear lights. In Russia, the rear turn signs should be yellow, but on all my cars are red.

Here in the United States many people buy buses or large vans and convert them into what we call 'campers' to use for going out in nature to camp with modern conveniences. It is normally a little less expensive than buying a 'motorhome' but you end up with the same type of thing. A soft bed, indoor kitchen area, indoor shower/toilet area, small living space to relax in, that type of thing. Depending on the size of the bus/van you can even find them with laundry facilities in them. :shock:

There are also some people (part of which are retired folks) that use these as full time homes on wheels, traveling from place to place and staying where they want to for however long they desire.

I hope that this is helpful to your understanding.
