I like the GPRS gasket better, but at most recent (and consistent) report, GPRS don't send your parts or answer your questions or do anything except advertise, if they even still do that.

I just got done installing a super six package on my brothers '63 powerwagon. The supersix parts were a complete package but the manifolds were warped slightly and I've got an exhaust leak. Does anyone make a thicker gasket for the slantsix? Rather than pulling everything apart again and milling manifolds I'd rather just change the gasket. Dave |

I do something different than most advise not to do, use 2 stock gaskets. I have run my home built headers that way and have had good results. |

Remflex is $15.99 now and with shipping is $26.39 to ship within the U.S. GPRS, http://tinyurl.com/cana9py has them for $15.43 including shipping from the other side of the world. My other side anyway. Remflex may be that much better but I guess I'll find out for half the price. Their intake/exhaust/hotbox gasket is great. I got two sets while I was ordering a while back. The header pipe gasket wasn't included and the felpro one leaked inside of a week. Danny |

Dave, just asking, but did you leave the bolts holding the manifolds together loose until you torqued all the mounting nuts down? If you tighten them up first the manifolds will never seal. Trust me on this. Dave

i need a new gasket, i had bought an AUSSIE gasket from a member here, but the post office broke it basicly in half, its bent, cracked, and wrinkled. and he sent me his last one... but said i will get a refund anyways. i dont think i would want to risk this gasket, i bought an expensive gasket, so i wouldnt have to risk anything. anyone know where i can get another aussie or that gprs gasket looks really nice, alot meatier looking, where can i get that one, with out dealing with them, if they dont send product? |

I run Remflex only.....on my drag car, and my wifes street car, and all slant 6's I wrench on.They are not cheap, but I havent had one fail me ever. Just my opinion. Andrew/Kidd |
