| Post subject: | Parking Brake Cable |
I have a 71 Duster 225ci and recently discovered that the parking brake cable is missing! When looking online for a new one, I noticed that the kits are for cars with and without an intermediate cable. Does anyone know what cable my vehicle has? Thanks. |

My 75 has the intermediate cable. Haven't seen a Duster that didn't have an intermediate cable, but I haven't seen it all either. Without would have the cables from the rear drums going directly to the parking brake lever. With has the cables from the drums conecting to the intermediate cable in the vicinity of the front end of the rear springs, and that runs to an adjuster and the parking brake cable under the car in the vicinty of the front edge of the front seat. |
