I just recieved my ARP rod and main bolts. Still waiting for the .080 over cast pistons from Summit they where back ordered. I started to grind down all the slag and ruff spots on the crank. I have the head done and the new erson cam. What is the best harmonic balancer I can get and will the machine shop need it when they do the balancing? |

Doesn't have one you say, really? What are you using for a timing mark reference? and what are your lower pulley(s) bolted to? |

now now 6shot, most new owners of slants don't realize that the balancer/ main pulleys are all in one unit, besides if he has never removed the outer pulley he would never have seen the giant rubber ring between the pulley "hub" and the grooved pulley portion. he's probably looking for a "giant" BB style balancer, which from waht I read in the MM article, that any 440 BB balancer will bolt up, but what about all your pulleys ? oh ya custom maching time lol -Mike |
