What considerations do I need to make if I wanted to transplant a stock /6 225 from a 67 cuda into a 63 dart (which currently has a /6 170 engine) Will everything line up the same? (Trans connection, engine mounts, exhaust, etc?) What should/can I take from the Cuda? (everything available but the trans.) The Dart currently has the push-button automatic trans. Thanks Matt |

Other than the exhaust pipe at the exhaust manifold possibly not reaching the manifold(taller deck height), I think as long as you use the PB auto torque converter you should be alright. I have a 65 Dart with a similiar swap and the header pipe to the manifold hits the steering linkage. |

Need to use the 63 oil pan/pickup, and the 63 engine brackets and insulators. Make sure the engine is really a 67, the back end of crankshaft changed in 68. The hole and the flange got larger. If the engine has the large flange, you will need a adapter ring in the end of the crank ($25-30), and the 68 flexplate |
