my brother took apart the 6 at his shop
turns out the problem was a blown head gasket on the 5 and 6 valve
it had major carbon deposits on piston heads and valves but no damage to the block, cam, or heads
lucky i guess
but just goes to show the engine really is bullet proof
its being blasted, bored out, polished and tuned, to be finished with a new paint job
will post pics when i can
any suggestions on a color scheme, were thinking orange block with black accesories, and headers
the cuda is red with a black top, and red and black interior

I vote for a red block, but the darker orange like a chev orange would look good.
