I just swapped a bbs for a 1920 because the bbs was junk.
After doing a search and getting 87 results that did not awnser my question I am coming to you guys.
How do I hook up the linkage on my 65 225 going from the bbs to the 1920.
I bought the 1920 used off this forum and it came with the 1920 linkage thing. I cant figure out how to get it all put together now. Any one have any pictures of this they would share. Help.

Thanks
Russ

Sure........

Click on the red link below my name and when it comes up double click for full screen slide show mode. I have several pictures of the 1920.

You can see that in 74 it uses a cable. In the early years there was a rod that rotated.
Hopefully you got an early 1920 that used the rotating rod. If not you may have to covert to the cable.

After much head scatching it has ocured that I have cable and not rod linkage on the new 1920.
On the bbs I had rod linkage.
Is there a way to make this work without a huge investment or serious mods?

I detached the part of the carb linkage for the rod and mated it to my new carb. But both the old and new were Holleys. Since you have two different carb brands it may not work for you.

i have a 66 cuda. it has the steel rod for a throttle, i took the bracket off the bbs and welded it to a holly four barrel, i had to cut and weld the rod to adjust length. i amagine this will work for you but i havent done it to a single barrel
