engine swap question? I am about to take out the slant in my '68 Dart and replace it with a '77 motor from a plymouth. When putting in the newer '77 engine- is there any problem with hooking it up to the '68 transmission. ?? It's the old forged crank to cast crank swap question !! thx, jef |

As long as your '68 motor has the large register on the back of the crank you should be OK. '68 was the changeover year and some small register cranks may have snuck out knowing Ma Mopar. |

No problem, you can swap...the only other problem might be if you had a manual tranny and the '77 had an unfinished pilot bushing bore...then we need to talk bushing options, if you have an auto tranny...time to get swappin'....-D.Idiot |
