Hello all, I have swapped my inlet/exhaust manifold which had a GM type carb for an old Holly mounted on a Clifford manifold... The change went well with only a few nuts left over ![]() My question is this, I have the hose that goes from the servo to the manifold, but no where to plug it into... Should I tap a new hole into the new manifold? Thanks Ryan |

Yes. Preferably in the outboard wall that faces the LH side of the engine bay. But you'll need to remove the carb so as to be able to hoover up the metal chips from inside the manifold as you create them with the drill and tap. |

Ryan,on my Clifford manifold there is a vac.port just under carb where Dan is recommending you drill and tap,I take it your's doesn't have this? Don't know if it would be advisable but perhaps an adapter plate under carb with vac port? When I switched to an Edelbrock carb it had provisions for all needed vac hookups so ended up plugging my manifold port.Good luck ![]() |

Hi, Just had another look and can't see one present... On number 6 intake there is raised disc area that is the same as where the original manifold has been tapped, I was going to target this as the entry. |

Hi better to do the mod Dan suggested - you will lean out #6 if you use that pad - and you have enough of a fuel distribution issue as is
