Post subject: | My "NEW" 67 Dart |
I just became the proud owner of a 67 Dart GT with 20,800 original miles. Some of you may have seen it on E-bay ( item #190333295884 for those who didn't ), well I'm the lucky guy who put in the winning bid. I'm new here and look forward to getting to know everyone and really hope this is a friendly board. My former ride was a 66 Dodge Charger known as Evil Eva ( you can do a search on you tube under Evil Eva and see her) which will be for sale sometime in the near future. Right now the plan is to make this car a daily driver the only problem is I feel kinda bad doing so with a survivor like this. She's really a nice car ( maybe too nice ) and I've wanted a leaning tower of power for a long time. From what I've read posting pics here is not exactly as easy as I had hoped but bare with me and I'll try and learn. Catch you later. Sailpanel |

Welcome to dot org! Pics are easy, but they are not hosted here. Use something like Photobucket, then use links to put photos into your messages. Just take pity on us poor folk with our slow internet! Keep the photos small or medium to allow us some semblence of speed! For large photos, use link locations so we can visit the photos in your photo hosting site of choice instead of waiting for them to load here. Sounds like a nice car! They were built to be driven. welcome, i saw it on ebay, nice car, ive got one the same color, original paint, mine is only one tone, same price class for vin etc, mine was built in LA, white interior though. came from az, i got it in illinois, im in indy now. mines got close to 200k on the body, had a rebuilt engine when i got it, i put in another one. looks sharp! where are you located? i know what you mean about not wanting to do too much to it, since its a survivor, and mine has 10x the miles! looks like a super clean car. |

Hi and Welcome! Beautiful Car , You will have alot of fun with it! It's like going back in time and buying a new Slant 6 powered car! I have the same dilemma, a 198 powered '74 Plymouth Duster with just under 16K original miles and it still has the Dealer sticker on the tail panel! The Slant powered Dart brought good money...you did fine...you could not restore it to that level for what you paid and it seems to have a good documented history! Looking forward to updates and adventures! Nico.... |

Thanks to everyone on your comments. I'm sure I was as skeptical as everyone else on this car. When I saw it in person it was as exactly as described and much better than what I even anticipated. |
