Hi I need to replace my ball joints and I can find the lower ball joints but, the upper ones are proving to be a challenge. Can anyone suggest where I can find upper ball joints. The lowers are $166 Canadian each. Is that reasonable? |

I don't know what the exchange rate is these days, but www.Rockauto.com has Moog lower ball joints for $96 US each side and Moog uppers for $50 each side. If you want cheap, they have Raybestos uppers for $12 US per side and Raybestos lowers for $53 US per side. |

I would think $166/ea excessive, but take a look at the prices at Just Suspension . I think I have a brand new set of uppers for your '65 on the shelf in Toronto, but I'm not back til early November. If you can't wait till then, hit www.espo.com and buy front end components at a good price from them, or get the ones (which may be considerably better than commodity replacements; see here — I haven't checked with JS to see if their A-body ball joints are the improved design.) |

I have 4 uppers I'd let go cheap. |

Thanks for all your suggestions. I decided to go for the rather expensive $166 lowers and $100 uppers. I needed them right away. They are Moog so I guess that they are good quality. |

Here's hoping…but it seems the basis for that hope has eroded quite a bit lately. |
