well this morning when i was driving to work i started to hear a noise (like a gear rubbing on a leaf or something). it seemed to go away at about 30-35 mph and would come back at 45+ is a part going out on me? ive never really had/heard about anything like this.

Often a speedometer cable will make noise when it wants to be relubed - it can come and go with temperature, speed, etc. It isn't a very hard job on most old Mopars, but be careful not to stretch the inner cable. If you've got factory cruise control, the cable may come out toward the CC unit rather than the dash; don't yank hard on it or you can stretch it out.

awesome, thankfully i dont have cruise control. what should i use to lube it?
