Can anyone make sense of this one? PI 225 R 2712 Obviously it's a 225, but I can't seem to decipher the rest of it. BTW, that "I" after the P could be a "1", can't see the top of it. |

How does: 2712 = Made on December 30, 1968 Just curious how that works....... |

2712 is the assembly date on a 10-kiloday Julian calendar. There's a chart in the front of each FPC showing the date code for each day of each month. I'm not sure why this is any better than simply stamping the date in 4- or 6-digit format, but they didn't ask me how they should do it! |
