Lay it out flat in your warm house over night so it can realize it's shape. I also find that the heat and friction of running a vacuum over it will also help. Take your time and trim carefully with a sharp blade starting from the front and working back.

Small nibbles when cutting for floor shifter & console. One can always trim a bit more, but can’t un-trim if cut too much. Take your time, make sure carpet is centered and lines up with that 2 to 3 inch ledge just in front of the rear seat. A heat gun used sparingly on back side of carpet will help relax material to conform to floor.

Use spray adhesive once carpet is fitted, and lays in without major wrinkles to adhere it to drive shaft & transmission hump, under rear seat & 2-3 inch virticle ledge, sides leading up to door sills, and firewall foot panel.

Once carpet is secured in place, door sills screwed down, locate & cut for seat belts & seat frame bolts.

Enjoy that new car smell…
