I was looking at my license plate renewal paperwork and I noticed the empty weight of my Mopars. I don't think they accurately reflect the real values.

1972 Plymouth Duster 3000#
1980 Dodge D150 Truck 3200#
1983 Dodge Ramcharger 3800#

I can't believe the truck is only 200# heavier than the Duster. The truck has a full length C channel frame, the Duster has two partial small box frames.

Does anyone know what the truck should weigh, really?

Title weights are light by a few hundred pounds in every case that I've scaled a vehicle.
