Top photo shows a mid sixties Studebaker Lark in the background, something one dose not see very often these days, particularly with after market “Continental Kit & Skirtsâ€￾…

Oddly, there is a fellow in this area that frequents the same car shows I haunt, who has the same car, yellow Lark rag top, less the kit & skirts. His car is not restored, complete, a bit on the rough side, but runs and drives nicely.

Useless information Department:

Studebaker was the only American marque to be advertized on color television by a drunken horse; --- Mr. Ed.

Syed,
I agree on the white top for heat management. However, a white top is harder to keep clean, and one has to be very carful not to retract it when it is damp or wet, or you will have a fantastic crop of mildew in short order.

My '64 Valiant convertible had a black top when I bought it...hated it.

It now has a white top...love it.

The only thing I would do differently is have it made from cloth, rather than vinyl.
