Does anyone have pictures of the super six setup, especially the carb linkage, cable and all that?? Also the choke pocket and that side as well?? I've ground out my older style exhaust manifold choke pocket to accomodate the newer style choke and don't know where to go from there.
I tried looking at the article on doing the super six swap and the pieces and parts that I've got don't look like the illustrations. I'm just trying to get it all rough assembled for now and then figure out the rest of the gas pedal thing and kick down.
Thanks.
Joe

Could you post pictures of what you have?

Reed, it would be easier for you to PM me with an Email address. I can get them to you that way. I've tried posting pictures before and it was a can of worms.

Not mine but I had them saved on my photobucket.

What do you mean you ground out your older style choke pocket to accomodate a new one? Did you buy the electronic choke thermostat? You shouldn't of had to grind anything. Its pretty much just bolt on and attach the exact same way as the original thermostat.

I've decided not to go with the electric choke. I'm trying to use what I've got rather than accumulate new spare parts. Thanks for the photos.
Izzy, there ain't no such critter in Maine salvage yards. Most of them have been cleaned out and crushed a long time ago.
