| Post subject: | Carburetors for Offenhauser 2carb aluminum intake? |
I need to know which carburetors would be best for a Offenhauser 2carb aluminum intake for my 1966 Barracuda. It has a stock 225 slant six w/automatic transmission. Also, I need to know where the correct carburetors can be purchased. |

Any of the stock slant-6 1-barrel carbs will work on that intake. The key to making it work well is to have a matched pair of identical carburetors. This is very difficult to do with used carburetors (which are invariably worn differently from one another), and "remanufactured" carburetors are a poor choice whether you need two or just one.
