hey i was messin around on clifford performance the other day and i found 1.6 to 1 rockers which would be neat to have for when i make the car an all out hot street sleeper. my question is will the more lift help me in the low end or top end. this is on an erson 270 cam (so in thery i should be at about .495 lift) also would that give me more "thump" at idel? will it help performance at all?

The 1.6 rockers are an RAS item that you can get cheaper elsewhere (do the search function)...don't reward Clifford, you may not get what you want... the 270/270 Erson cam should be dialed right in for a nice torque band, with not much lump...if you wanted 'lump' get a longer duration cam(or set your valve lash tighter by .001-.002..it'll lump then...)... extra lift is nice but you will want the porting to go with it and the bigger valves to make sure you use everything you're trying for.

Others can chime in, but your money is best spent on other items to get where you want to go...

If you want more lift or thomp get the cam that will deliver that....its cheaper than RAS rockers.

1.6 rockers on the erson 270 will get you the same lift(kinda) as a .528 MP cam. Buy the cam.

Personally I would fully try the cam you have first.
