i have figured where i'm going with my duster SLEEPER! its gonna be realy quiet with turbo mufflers and eletric cut outs when i need them. but i need help with choosing and air cleaner i want something big to let it breath so heres what i got ![]() the air cleaner off a 454 i like it because it can do this ![]() but is there any other options for an air cleaner where it would look stock and perform as well. this was free off my dads truck but i could by something else since i have room in my budget |

I seriously doubt you will get your hood to close with the air cleaner lid flipped. It might close with the lid in the normal position. What's wrong with a stock mopar air cleaner? Find one off of a smallblock. It will clear your hood and, if you get the right one, you can have functioning cold and heated air intake systems. |

I used the base from a 10'' aftermarket air cleaner with the top from a 1 bbl. air cleaner on my Holley 390. |

If your hood will close, you could use the one you've got. However, I'm with Reed on this one. Chcek Ebay, junkyards, swap meets and use a Mopar air cleaner. Or, you could use some type of combo like slanted87 did. If you want that sleeper effect. |

Turning the lid upside down gives more noise, if you like that, but leaving it rightside up gives the engine what it really wants: temperature-controlled air (hot when the engine's cold, cold when the engine's hot). I just came across this interesting air cleaner from our friends at GPRS Mopars down under… |

i like the twin snorkel air cleaner how much would that be in american $dollars$. Quote: I seriously doubt you will get your hood to close with the air cleaner lid flipped.
