This is the #s on the block of my slant six( 9225RT12 15 E). Can anybody tell what this #s are? Thanks for the help. |

Pretty sure this decodes to a 1979-model 225 engine with a cast crankshaft, made for passenger car service at Trenton Engine Plant on December 15, 1978. But I don't have a '79 parts catalogue to confirm that.

Thanks SlantSixDan, When I got the motor the guy said it was out of a 1978 plymouth but he is 84 years old and not for sure. Thanks SlantSixDan you alway give help to everybody. |
