I know that there have been many in-depth and detailed posts in the past about distributor recurving. However, it would be handy to have all the info collected together and put in a sticky. ANybody out there up to the challenge? I would do it, but I am swamped with work for the foreseeable future. This article would need to be complied, edited, and vetted before publication, so it would take some effort and coordination amongst the gurus.

In fact, even better than a sticky would be a new article for the articles page.

Just a suggestion.

Personally I would prefer the article approach. Stickies tend to clutter up the top of the forum and should be used only for information that will be accessed by a large number of members repeatedly or for reminder items (such as donations. Y'all hear me? :) ). That's my humble opinion for what it's worth.

As a compromise, rather than a bunch of stickies, have a 'locked' stickie that's an index and has links to 'threads of interest'..............

The better option of an article is that the article has the pictures in it already loaded... if the member who posted pics to the threads goes "under" (moves accounts, etc...)...the pics will be gone.

I have thought about collating the data into one article, but at this time I'm chasing my white rabbit so time's a commodity I don't have a lot of, so it will have to wait. Sitting on my desk I have all the common Distributor governors and I was going to follow up with Ed's measurements and make a printable form so if someone wanted to
"pattern" out a 15L to an 11R, they could print out the page and check their welding...

Just haven't gotten there yet. But I'll lend a hand when someone needs some help or information with the article (got lots of examples!).
