On my freshly overhauled /6 in my D100-which is the correct carburator base gasket to use for the super 6 setup-EGR not hooked up, no cat. Do I use the thicker or thinner gasket, and do I use the one with the slots cut in the outside edges of the throttle bores, or the gasket w/o the slots. Thanks-Mike

What carburetor are you using?

I'd use the thick base gasket. Whether you need notched or plain depends on your exact carburetor. Turn it upside down and look at the mounting flange. Are there vacuum channels/slots/ports that would be blocked off by the plain gasket, but exposed to vacuum with the notched one? If so, use the notched one.
