On my freshly overhauled /6 in my D100-which is the correct carburator base gasket to use for the super 6 setup-EGR not hooked up, no cat. Do I use the thicker or thinner gasket, and do I use the one with the slots cut in the outside edges of the throttle bores, or the gasket w/o the slots. Thanks-Mike |

What carburetor are you using? |

I'd use the thick base gasket. Whether you need notched or plain depends on your exact carburetor. Turn it upside down and look at the mounting flange. Are there vacuum channels/slots/ports that would be blocked off by the plain gasket, but exposed to vacuum with the notched one? If so, use the notched one. |
