I really appreciate all the input that you guys have given.

After accumulating some parts , I have realized that there are more logistical challenges with the slant engine that i want to deal with.

I will be using instead a 4.0 Jeep ( AMC-Chrysler) six cylinder, stroked to 4.7 . about 285 cu in . Hesco in Birmingham makes a billet head for $2000, and the crank weighs only 55 lbs. It is 7 main bearing.
Anyway, I have listed the following in my e bay store : www.Alkydigger.com

1- Head with 1.70" x 1.44" valves
2- forged crankshafts
1- NEW Vertex Magneto for 170-198-225
1- set of stainless 1.70 1.44 valves
1- set ARP Head Studs

you guys are great

Mike[/b]

Mike,

You are quite welcome. Sorry that you have chosen the smallblock chevy of I6s instead of our beloved oddball, the Slant 6.

Best of luck with your project.

How fast are you trying to go again?

Lou
